Wait, wait--we have another GG baby on the way. Alyssa Wilson Leggoe, who came back after her South African Rotary scholarship stint and before her Princeton Woodrow Wilson gig. She will be back in NOLA this summer to have her baby (Saima, you're on point to get pictures for us). And John Goldstein (a GG UK board member) and Holly Roberson are also due this summer. All I can say is there must have been something in the air in late 2007 ...

Al, thanks for writing another great post! I really liked the title and I really enjoyed reading it. Even though I already knew about the forthcoming service, I love that you're getting the word out to more people. I hope Bono appreciates your efforts ;-)

Hi guys,

I don't ride the metro, but when I came into the office today, my colleague said, "Look what I got today," and handed me a little cardboard box. What a great idea -- nice way to build upon the idea behind the ad and spread the word about GlobalGiving projects. I hope it generates a lot of enthusiasm -- great work!

Cool idea... I'd be interested to hear more about what the specific reactions of the public were. And whether you think that the "stunt" fulfilled its intended purpose. It almost borders on public performance art, which has often been used for advocacy purposes. Good luck with the avant-garde :)
