American Express Giving: $1.5 million with just one click

Posted by Cecilia on Monday, September 29th, 2008

Got a second…literally? Visit American Express Members Project right now and, with just a click of the mouse, help undernourished children in Africa, women recovering from war, fight AIDS, or provide pediatric eye care for Mongolian children. Now, in today’s day and age, when every moment is precious, that’s what I call time well spent.

This year, GlobalGiving is proud to announce that four of our grassroots partner organizations—Grassroots Soccer, International Medical Corps., ORBIS International, and Women for Women International—are among 21 other organizations participating in American Express Members Project. The organization that receives the most votes, by individuals like you, will be awarded $1.5 million by American Express to execute a development project.

We believe in the work of all four of these organizations and we strongly encourage you, our donors, to take a glance at each project and vote today. Time’s running out. Tomorrow, September 30th is the last day to vote!

Not an American Express card holder? Still curious to see what Grassroots Soccer, International Medical Corps., ORBIS International, and Women for Women International are doing? Check them out on our site, www.globalgiving.com for more information.
